MPA 9mm Short Handguard

This accessory can be added to any MPA 5.7-28 Pistol or MPA57SST Series .

The Set includes a complete short handguard assembly, rear handguard retainer, (2) SHCS fasteners, and Reduced Diameter Barrel Extension. For field installation by the customer, your MPA pistol must have (2) drilled and tapped holes on the face of the upper receiver block that houses the barrel. (see picture). All MPA Pistols produced after 2011 should have this feature. If your MPA Pistol was produced prior to 2011 and does not have these (2) drilled and tapped holes, you can simply send your MPA upper back to MPA and we will drill and tap those two holes free of charge.

This Short Handguard Assembly is perfect for the addition of a flashlight, laser or other picatinny rail accessory. This Hanguard also gives the user a positive gripping location for high speed firing from the hip while retaining the Tactical Features/Accessories for home or personal defense.

The video below shows the installation process. It takes approx 5 minutes to install this accessory and no special gunsmithing is required.

To determine barrel thread size please use:

• serial number prefix V,F, and FJ all have 1/2-28 threads
• all B prefix and Serial numbers FX0000- FX02000 have 3/4-10 threads
