This flag was developed to provide the safest , most effective method to ensure that the chamber is free of a loaded cartridge while notifying the shooter that the chamber flag is in place.

The colors were chosen specifically to be loud and clearly visible.

This flag design is widely used in the PRS due to the safety factor and visibility. (Ever run a bolt closed on a chamber flag & cartridge at the same time? – No Fun).

The plastic material used to produce the flag will not melt in the chamber.
